We also hunted an old home site yesterday that dates back to 1904. It has potential but the weeds and grass were just to high to swing.

My parents both remembered two of the bottles, the one on the left was shoe polish lol it still had a white crust in it. The one on the right was an alkaselser bottel. I did find my first condom tin, koin brand.

Bago,

I am telling my age here, but I remember the Alka-Seltzer bottle. Do you remember the little character on the TV commerical named "Speedy" who would slide down the hill on an Alka-Seltzer tablet? It was before color TV.

Dude you have maybe two saddle parts there, one for sure. I have an lidentical on that went to McClellan Saddle. Its a staple, but who knows if other saddle makers used the same staple. I found mine at a site where the Apache's fought and held off the cavalry for over 9 hours.
