Found this yesturday at the site guy's and sure could use some help identifying it.

I see it an I don't know WHAT you got there.. awesome find to say the least.. the shank doesn't look that old then again I definitely am no button expert.. i will show this to some UK buddies see what they say....

I have been trying hard to figure it out but not much luck so far, it's either way pre civil war or way post civil war, it could be a type 1 button with the drilled hole in the shank, i think it is pewter and it is as very light.
